The Dragon House - New Construction
A Childhood Home Reimagined on the Mesa
Perched on the Mesa in Santa Barbara, this modern masterpiece is more than just a custom build—it’s a personal story brought to life. Designed from the ground up on the site of the owner's childhood home, every detail was carefully considered, from the glass, steel, and wood finishes to the recording studio, gaming room, pool, and hot tub.
But the real showstopper? A 2,000 lb sculpture of King Ghidorah suspended from the living room ceiling. The house was literally built around the dragon, craned into place mid-construction and structurally supported to hold this incredible piece of art. Outside, Godzilla stands watch, peering in.
